After you decide what type of proxy you need out of Mobile, Residential or ISP proxies proceed to place an order. You can find a detailed article on placing an order with Hydraproxy<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


2) Get your HydraProxy access details (Dashboard \u2192 \u201cManage access\u201d)<\/strong>

A) If you\u2019re using HydraProxy Residential Proxies \/ International Mobile Proxies \/ ISP Proxies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n


Let's exemplify using HydraProxy\u2019s residential proxy format is shown as:

So you\u2019ll have:

Important:<\/strong> Residential supports HTTP\/HTTPS only<\/strong> (no SOCKS) while International Mobile Proxies<\/strong> and ISP Proxies have both HTTP\/s and SOCKS protocols available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B) If you\u2019re using HydraProxy USA Mobile or Static Mobile Proxies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

HydraProxy states mobile proxies do not use username\/password<\/strong> auth; instead they use IP whitelisting<\/strong> (your public IP must be added in HydraProxy \u201cManage access\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, mobile supports HTTPS and SOCKS5.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) Common fixes if \u201cTest Proxy\u201d fails<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf<\/strong> Wrong proxy type<\/strong>: Residential is HTTP\/HTTPS only<\/strong> (no SOCKS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf<\/strong> Mobile whitelist not set<\/strong>: Add\/update your current public IP<\/strong> in HydraProxy \u2192 Manage access \u2192 Whitelist IP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf<\/strong> Host vs IP mismatch<\/strong>: If DNS\/hostname has issues, HydraProxy notes you can use the numeric server IP<\/strong> from the dashboard (for residential).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf<\/strong> Protocol\/port mismatch (international mobile)<\/strong>: If you switch SOCKS5 vs HTTPS, ensure you\u2019re using the right port (they explicitly warn about this).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
